Developed by BM China Team, the Inherent Defect Claim (IDI) is a digital claims platform to facilitate the claims experiences of IDI minor losses (including wall cracks, seepage), with functionalities of:

- Automatic loss pattern recognition based on AI-aided image recognition technology
- Standardized repair plan and quotation according to repair database from qualified repair TPA
- Digitized claims management services for documentation and analysis


The Auto Mode (AI/AR feature for defect detection) in the app currently works under a few constraints:



- Indoor defects i.e., room crack and seepage only
- Defect on white walls or roof with plane surface
- Defect position involved at most two planes
- Sufficient lighting


Option to switch to Manual Mode for defect detection has been provided to the user.
